Wallpaper EXHIBITION
The CODA museum in Apeldoorn gave Studio Elmo Vermijs the assignment to make the spatial design for a wallpaper exhibition.
The exhibition comprises an historical overview and a part that centers on contemporary designs.
Vermijs used the everyday wallpaper table, a basic shelf with trestles, as starting point for his design. As result of the transformation of this everyday object, Vermijs developed a highly recognizable display that resonates the spatial qualities of the building designed by Herman Hertzberger.
